@Tod ********
thanks Tod. Yes, I wasn’t sure whether I’d have issues further down the line with a missing exit stamp so I queued up instead.

Shame, as it would be a great time saver!

@James *******
thank you! So i don’t need to arrive from the country the visa was issued by (UK)?

@Gethin ******
yeah could get for the first 60 days instead. The multiple entry one is more complicated though

@Denyse ******
30 days visa exempt when you enter. Extend another 30 days when you’re here for 1,900 baht. Go to Malaysia. Come back in on a 30 day exempt 👍

@Andy ****
I just got my 30 day extension yesterday. Big stamp in passport. Not seen this paper before. Check each page of your passport for the stamp

ah sorry I’m not sure. You can extend the 60 day by 30 days. I’m not sure about the visa exempt!

we’ve done it at my school many times (tourist - non-b) BUT you will only have a 30 day, and depending on your location - schools often need far more time to get the documents from MOE etc. So if you can get the 60 day tourist visa instead, you’ll be in a much more comfortable position.

if you don’t apply for any type of visa in advance - you can just arrive to the country and get a 30 day tourist visa

@Lee *******
no the thailand pass is just the permission to enter the country (due to covid). You then need any type of visa or you can get visa exempt on arrival. The thailand pass is in addition to this.

Yes to get the non-b through the school you’ll need to provide them with those documents, such as your degree

@Lee *******
the thailand pass isn’t a visa type. You could come in on a visa exempt and then your school could help you get the non b when you’re here
