you don’t need to involve the embassy at all it’s a straight forward passport lost or stolen replacement so just go straight to them

no it’s on the passport renewal if you go to the government website and put passport overseas it gives you all the info. It’s managed by a company called VfWS they work out of the Trendy building sukhumvit 13. I can’t link the website as you need to put in your details and then it tells you what you need but essentially you email and they give you an appointment and tell you what to take

You can apply for new passport here in Bangkok. You make an appointment at the trendy building sukhimvit, take all that paperwork even the damaged passport and they act as agents for the UK passport office. The email address is online via the Gov website I just renewed mine and it was very straight forward cost £118 with the postage

no Bangkok bank aren’t the best they take a long time to set up lots of things. I just recently opened a K bank account and they seem much better it was all done and dusted in 1 appointment and I can access every service
