Anonym deltagare 802 You are just making up your own assumptions. While anything is possible, there is nothing to suggest that other banks will start closing accounts at this time.

Why has my Bangkok Bank account remained active while others have been frozen despite having a DTV visa?

They are working their way back. Don't be surprised if it eventually will be frozen. Mine is also still working but I emptied it and have stopped using it. I would go to close it myself but there are always huge lines outside the bank with people who have had their accounts frozen.

That's highly unlikely. Just close the account and get the cash out.

I have both my thai bank accounts functioning, but I emptied the bkk bank account because I'm sure they will eventually freeze it. I opened it in 2022 so I guess they are working their way backwards.

I find it highly unlikely that they will open an account for someone with a DTV.

It could be it was opened on a tourist visa or visa exempt, by an agent or the phone number attached to the account didn't match their name.

There is no limit to 180 days per year for DTV. It's 180 days per entry but you can leave and come back the same day. Also, you can extend in country for another 180 days.
