It was merely a suggestion and a correction. Meanwhile the search function is very helpful if one knows uses it correctly.

Actually that post is dated January 6. The message was first posted in this group back then and sparked a huge discussion and exchange of information. Use the search function within this group and you'll find answers to every possible question about this crucial topic.

Remember the banks don't open until 8:30 am and by the time they've done it, you've photocopied everything etc. you still have to go back upstairs and get a queue number.......I always feel better getting all my paperwork done and photocopied the day before.

I only had one non-home K-bank branch ever tell me they couldn't do it that day. Meanwhile the home bank is obliged to do it. If for some reason they try to weasel out of it I just tell them the sob story about how I have to get it to Immigration that day and I thought all home branches must do it and...and...and...But even that only happened once and they did it in the end.

It's a long story Robert Lagas and I don't share personal details on FB groups. I appreciate your and everyone's input. I realize the law's been on the books for yonks. I also realize that nobody started paying much attention to it until quite recently. I'll try to persuade my landlord to take notice of it too.

Anyhow, the administrators are going to cut us off if I continue along this road so I'll stop for now. Thanks again.

It's none of their business as far as I can see. I'm not a tourist, my TM6 number remains the same. What's the problem?

THANK YOU. That makes very good sense. I have a one-year visa now and have had them in one form or another for years. I don't want to go into my personal situation but it might be changing and I'm trying to figure out how to orchestrate that. I should probably wait til my local immigration office announces its intentions.

Yes, I've seen it. It's humorous and quintessentially Thai. It doesn't address the question about the Thai Elite visa however. Are you on one?
