Did my extensions of stay based on a Thai child today in Ubon Ratchanthani. Had all required documentation. Did the monthly deposit from abroad method. Only thing different than in the past, they did interview and asked why my income from abroad immediately left my account at my bank, and I transfer it to my wife’s account. Then they questioned my wife on what she spent the money on. I got my 30 day under review, nothing said about visiting house or requiring witnesses to us living there as in the past. FYI we moved in last year.

This was dated today ! My question because I’m getting ready to retire this year Will they still accept having 800,000 baht in the bank or will they REQUIRE having 65,000 baht a month deposited in a Thai bank from the US ?
