no matter what the IO does/does not stamp in our passport, it is up to the individual to check the passport before leaving the counter. Thankfully it seems to have been noticed (just) in time if the person can go to Suvarnabhumi today.

you are welcome. Just make sure that when you arrive at Passport Control, the IO stamps the correct exit date in your passport. IE they do not note you have a visa and only give you a 30 day visa exempt stamp. It is your responsibility to check the correct date before you leave the desk. Keep in mind that your day of arrival counts as day 1, so technically you only have another 59 days stamped into your passport.

arrive by that date.......when you receive the visa, you are given a 90-day window to use the country. Once you enter Thailand, you are free to do whatever you wish for the 60 days 🙂

As long as your current visa or extension of stay is valid, you can travel while on the "under consideration" stamp. Just so long as you arrive back in time to collect the new extension stamp in your passport.

I have a printer and a stack of photos so may as well bring the form with me. Cheers for the heads up.

no photos needed? From memory it was just the form last time I travelled away from Thailand.

@James *******
what about book a hotel for tonight and then ask them for a copy of the tm30 that they will need to submit....will that work?
Paul *********
You can go, but from experience your documents may not be sent back in time. If you have an urgent need to travel before the under consideration stamp date, then this question needs to be raised through the Immigration office where you initially applied.

Technically you need to be stamped through IC before midnight, not just land before midnight….

@Storm *******
no such rule. only need to remember as what
@Robert ******
already said, the more you enter on a visa exempt, the more the risk of Immigration questioning you and potentially refusing you entry.
