 The WiFi at Shanghai was dogshit a few weeks ago, and my usual VPN didn't work because you can only use a few that the Chinese use.

 Be aware that Google doesn't work in China, along with everything else you probably use on your phone at home. You have to use Bing to access the internet unfortunately.
