I only have my US birth certificate. I’ve been told I need a Thai birth certificate that I must get from the Thai Consulate closest to where I was born. That is what I am currently trying to sort out, but I get a feeling that it’s going to take some time. And right now I just need to extend my stay until I can figure that paperwork out.

I’m in the process of that but did not know that was an option until recently. Getting birth certificates from two divorced parents of 20 years is a bit of a mountain to climb, especially when they have no clue where that paperwork is. 😉
