Hi group! Thai-American with dual-citizenship here…I’m suppose to return back to Bangkok on September 1st but with the restrictions there, I was considering flying to Phuket immediately after landing. I am fully-vaccinated and want to spend my 14-day quarantine in the “Phuket Sandbox”. Is it possible for me to do this? (My return flight is set for Bangkok otherwise I would just fly direct to Phuket.) Anyone have an answer to this situation?

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Thai-American individual is seeking clarification on whether they can participate in the Phuket Sandbox quarantine program after landing in Bangkok, with plans to fly to Phuket subsequently. Community responses indicate that to qualify for the Phuket Sandbox, travelers must fly directly into Phuket from abroad, rather than stopping in Bangkok first.

You have to fly directly to Phuket not via any other airport in Thailand.
