Let me explain it in a little more detail. I know I need a multiple entry visa or a reentry permit. BUT how about CoE and booking quarantine if you want to go on a business trip for one or two weeks and then return to Thailand?

Until you are a little more than 1 month away from your Non-B extension to expire, you don't really need to do anything. No, changing into Non-O over Non-B doesn't influence your work permit.
