What is the 90-day reporting requirement for foreigners in Thailand, especially for those on a DTV visa?

It is compulsory in your case, and just because you managed to enter and exit without any questions about it once, doesn't mean you'll be able to do it again. Any documentation you may later require from the immigration while in Thailand could result in fines for not updating it... Better getting it updated from now and paying the fine if any.
