Im sorry to say but your passport is your golden ticket to anywhere and you are the sole person who is responsible for being able to present that whenever necessary. The fact this dumbass agent still has your passport after 8 months is of little concern to anyone of importance and it is your responsibility solely to get it back asap. Let me guess... Bangkok Buddy?
I agree. Although there has been some discussion eleswhere about whether you needed to provide your visa details (if one is required is what is stated at the beginning of the process) when applying for Thai Pass. I didn't because I still don't have a TR visa but I entered 59 days as my intended stay time so this might indicate to them I'm coming on a 60 day visa but I still got the QR code overnight.
My vax certificate has both jabs with only 1 QR code. I cropped the QR to make two files. The cetificate plus the QR code itself and I uploaded the same two files for vax sections 1 and 2. Got approval in 4 days.
For a TR visa, I emailed the embassy in Australia this week to ask about outbound flight requirements and all they said was to add a tentative date for the departure. No need to supply proof.
Ive never been asked by an airline or immi officer to show proof of an outbound/return flight when entering BKK on a TR visa but you certainly will need one if traveling on visa exempt entry.
Your comment is irrelevant to this post which about the evisa application process. In response to your point, if you're standing in a cue waiting to go through immigration, I'm pretty sure your passport has ALL PAGES required to appease said officer so no need to argue with him 😉
