Agree with points here. Ask if they know your destination and say you want meter on. Thats cheaper . Not taking the toll charge expressways( go up? Is the phrase the driver will ask you) may save you money ( peanuts really) but get you stuck in traffic for ages on ground level.Just look firm and confident with taxi drivers in Asia and be very clear re meter ON or don’t get in. Sorted.
