I am aware the embassy doesn’t decide, if they posted it on the website it is for sure not because the embassy is playing, it is an order from the Government. Embassies only represent the government, they follow instructions. They have almost no autonomy.
I don’t think anyone has any example of the cabinet passing a vote on something and then not happening, remember not the media saying, the cabinet actually voting on something and passing it.
no, the cabinet decides, they already did. The vote passed. Time will tell, but in my only 6 years in the country, every single time the cabinet voted and approved something, it came to pass within a month or two. Remember this is no longer the dictatorship it used to be. Arbitrary decisions no linger take place. If the cabinet approves, it will happen sooner or later.
it is displayed on every embassy website that I have checked. It will definitely happen.
I think they said june 1 but it was probably a typo, they probably meant july 1 since it was approved on may 29. Makes more sense that it would take a month to finish the legalities instead of two days
careful, not sure about Thailand, but some countries require you to show the local passport if you have multiple nationalities regardless of where they stamp the entry. I come from a Suth american country, every time I go home I can enter with my European passport but still required to show my latin American passport. Maybe Thailand can be the same.
Maybe read the BOI guidelines first, I don’t think small companies apply. The investment I think was very high last time I checked. Small companies can’t apply for BOI, or at least it is my understanding.
