Depends on Ampur. I have tried at local land transport office and have had refused on visa exemption in the past.

 thanks for your post. Just to clarify. The visa I want to apply for is a Non-Immigrant O (Visiting Thai partner/other). Which is for myself and I wish to convert to a marriage visa obce I have a Thai bank account. Is this done there in Penang ?
