I renewed my card around January. They only wanted passport didn't check visa at all

Over 2025 I know at least 30 people who have had their BKK bank locked. All different visa types, all sorts of stupid reasons, non of which are valid. I am also worried mine will eventually be locked as I lack the patience to go to a branch. My last visit just to get a new card when mine was about to expire took 4 hours. That was even being at the bank on opening and being about the 6th person to get a ticket.

Also interested. Had a few mates around 3 months ago put through the process on return.

GenuinePineapple2858 I often tell people how backwards they are face to face. Google, chatgpt and others are great 5s resources to avoid these kind of posts

You made it clear yourself. Need a TM30, house docs... for me thats already 1+ hour and carrying a 15 page original document 6km before other responsibilities. Vs agent next to my village who have all my docs already just pop in ask them go, 1000b done pop in tomorrow.
