This brings up a valid point

How can you have a thai bank when you dont have the proper visa to open the account.

The rules of 800k in the account dont make sense when you first come here because your not allowed to get the account and there is no way it can sit there long enoughy

1 christmas is not a holiday here

2 you fly out no stamp when you go through an electric gate with no imigration official when you return you will get a new stamp

The stamp is your arrival day for 90 day reporting

The other date is when your visa expires.

And then they write what type of visa

1 go to the police and file a report

2 go to your countrys embasy website and find out what they need for new passport.

Apply and wait for new passport

3 once you recieve the passport go to imigration and pay about 2000 baht for new stamp

Keep all paperwork from police and embasy as the imigration will need for the stamp

Hopefully you have photos of the passport and the old stamp

If your on a visa that doesnt have multiple entry or leaving will make it expire they will pull you out and have you talk to an imigration official. You can add a multiple entry and or cancel a visa so that when you return there is not an issue.

You have a DTV approved. People that come visa exempt and try to stay for more than 180 days in a year on a tourist visa are the problem. You are living here at that point and the thais want you to apply for a long term visa

this was over someone who had come here and stayed too long multiple times during the year.

Remember the policy is 180 days in a year or you need a real visa
