Did you enter Thailand with a non-o visa? If so to extend you need to season your money for at least two months and then go to your IO with your passport and ask them what documents they need. If you are in jomtien, the office on your left will make ready all the documents for a few hundred baht
for subsequent extension (no conversion to non O) without reentry permit. Have they increased their prices. I switched to DTV for the last two years, so I do not know the current rate.
Would you consider obtaining a tourist visa that provides 60 days, with the option to extend for an additional 30 days? If you need another 60 days, just do a border run.
