In Bangkok you should do it around 15 days before your stamp expires, they don’t allow it in the final week. So different from office to office.

My friend and countryman has AIA and he pays around 35k baht every year, covers him and his 2 Thai kids. He had an bike accident few years back and first Bangkok hospital didn’t accept his insurance and wanted cash payment upfront, one call to the agent and she came to the hospital, then they accepted and AIA covered his stay + surgery no reimbursement.

you can take out cash in any atm with any card issued in any country.

I lived here for 12 years and worked as a real estate agent. Never ever have any client had to show what visa they hold or had to have a Thai bank account. You only pay the full years rent if you looking for a lower monthly rent price, standard is 1 months rent + 2 months deposit. Anything else is someone trying to take you for a ride. You do need to provide a copy of the ID page of your passport though.

you provide it when extend and in tm30, and the one sell you the SIM card register it with your passport info, so they sure got it

Use agent, some charge 5k bah, some charge up to 8.5k baht

in Pattaya there’s plenty of agencies but I don’t know one in Bkk that have reasonable prices
