I had many bank accounts from different banks in Thailand, all fronted by girls I knew. They ALWAYS provided me full control over bank card, bank book, bank app. I would never accept anything less. Never had 1 baht stolen or “borrowed” by any of these girls either since without the bank book and a police report about lost bank book they can’t access the account even if they go to the bank and try. And they always registered my phone number to the account when signing.

if you will use your return ticket within the 60 days you won’t be fined. It’s only if you extend or apply for a new visa. But I recommend that you file the tm30 anyway to have your back cleared.

it’s all been sorted out and I actually came out stronger than I went in. I have my authorised and approved residency certificate now + extension and all documents needed to get a student visa.
