When can I apply for a 30-day extension on my Thai tourist visa?
Hi guys just a quick question, I've been told you need to wait to apply for the 30 day extension until last 7 days of your 60 day tourist visa at Jomtien immigration ? Can you advise please, thanks again

We were able to get our 30 day extension over a month before our 60 days were up at the immigration office at Central Festival mall in Chiang Mai.

Trat ko chang did mine 50 days early, in and out in ten minutes no photos or forms needed just give lodging address and sign.. best immigration office in Thailand.

In Bangkok you should do it around 15 days before your stamp expires, they don’t allow it in the final week. So different from office to office.

the Chaeng Wattana office doesn't issue extensions. Only Laksi IT Square 3rd floor counter K issues touristic extensions. So an officer with a desk at Chaeng Wattana might not be fully aware what his colleagues at Laksi Square are doingRolf *********

Don't know who told you what but every immigration office in Thailand processes tourist extensions up until the last day, and even past the last day when you are in overstay

I've heard stories of them sometimes sending people away, even in the final week, and telling them to return on the final day of their stamp.

That's correct for Jomtien. They only accept tourist extensions during the final week of the permission to stay.
