I get it but just try to observe if the Phuket opening happens and then make a decision based on that outcome. But I have problems seeing more densely populated areas opening up soon like BKK.

they are vaccinating still and even foreigners now so they are trying. But until in Royal Gazette I would not count on it. I am also not sure how they will react if they open sandbox and then find the virus... I would love to go myself but I am skeptical at best right now :)

Go immigration and get certificate of residence. 300-500 THB for express service. You can say it is for driving license they will understand. However you need passport photos and copies the latter should be available there and photos normally in the area. During pandemic and not being in Phuket I fan only guess.

You also need a fit to drive from doctor. Should cost 100 THB but you know how the pricing work now? 😅

There is a driving school offering theory and they do most of the papers. It is not the one in the link but it is on the right side of the same road. If you can bring Thai speaker always easier...

Depends on how and if the Phuket sandbox goes well... I wouldn't get my hopes up personally.

I think the importance as everywhere if the foreign interest is not constant buy where the domestic is. This will ensure that value appreciate at least.
