The re entry stamp is an additional stamp after renewal (only needed to re enter Thailand if you leave) I wish they would offer a renewal complete with multi re entry to save getting 2 stamps all the time ... pay the extra but save space in passport.

Kyle, I am assuming you mean a "re-entry visa" (mine is used on my OA extension) I like you have questioned this a few times at immigration and got different answers, some say a multiple re-entry visa can be used as many times as you want, some officers say only 4 times, others say 3 others don't know ..... I would love to see something in writing because it seems between the immig office and Airports there are many different understandings ..... sorry to add to the confusion but like you I have searched clarification several times ...... in fact I wish that when my multi entry visa (original) is extended I could get a multi entry renewal in one stamp, not an extension of 12 months then a second stamp if you plan to travel outside Thailand (that is effectively a new visa that is now the visa number you use on entry) you're question is valid.

I hear you ..... years back they had an officer who was constantly sorted it out for me (after the new site upgrade and it all went wrong) by calling bkk but then they moved the help desk inside the detention centre compound (no public access) 🤣🤣🤣 anyway I always give it a try just for laughs but never hold my hopes up ....other friends have no issues at all ..... go figure. The problem is that once there's a glitch there,s nobody capable of fixing it ...... installation, setting up no issue but sourcing an issue .......good luck

Thanks for the quick replies and yes, same site I always use .... however over the years its been pretty much a hit and miss process for me ... initially it worked great, then they revised the site years back and its been hit n miss since .....its not a biggy, even my main office can't sort it out and tell me to contact bkk ....🤣 but of late its been working ok so just wondering if this latest glitch is because I renewed pp or just the standard " not working this week"
