I live in Vientiane, and haven’t moved around that much unfortunately I haven’t seen that many places, vang Vieng is beautiful I’ve been there a few times, Luang Prabang I’ve heard is nice, you should check it out and see if it’s for you, there’s the four thousand islands, paksá,

Thailand is a hassle to stay long, Laos is much easier, but not as beautiful as a whole, although there’s plenty of nice places here

you're completely right Richard, it's not that bad here, so me saying I have been stuck here is more of a figure of speech, than the truth, I could have gotten out of here a long time ago if I had made the effort, but I never thought the borders would be closed for so long, then again I can't complain, Laos can be fun, a lot more free here than Thailand, less restrictions in general with or without Covid, I just feel it's time to get back now
