Sounds good. I'll wait to see what date they stamp for me to return and then go from there. It seems like the return date is 30 days from when my visa needs to be extended no matter if I go in early to extend but why take chances.

my fixed account allows me to access the funds anytime so I should be good there. So if I keep the 400,000 Baht in the said withdrawable, fixed account I can keep using the same funds to extend my visa year after year without touching it - correct?

my wife filed the TM30 and I have a copy of the receipt. Thanks, that clarifies this for me so I should be all set now. We will have the blue book and her ID with us if there are any questions. Thanks! Cheers! Ray.

thanks, we had heard that it needed to be translated from English to Thai but I wasn’t aware that we needed to go to the MFA office for the approval stamp. Thanks for that information.
