It all depends on the officer that day. My passport is ranked as top in the world for visa free entry so don’t know, plus I have never once did a border run.

I was told by the Immigration officer at DMK that it’s considered an “illegal visa run” since I fly in so frequently from my own home country and stay here longer than home. She said next time I will need to get a tourist visa to fly in. This happened just last month.

I think you are right as my flight was ‘FD something’. I was just worried it’s a code to say not to allow me any further 30 days extension.

But all is fine since I got the extension yesterday.
