depending on where you are from, if you’re entitled to the Visa free entry, you can stay 60 days. The by visiting and immigration office you can get a further 30 days.

So if you’re only staying a couple of months you shouldn’t have any issues getting in the country

They don’t care how you got to Vietnam, they want to know how you are planning to arrive in Thailand!

You can but then you’re reliant on everything working correctly at a critical moment. If there is even the slightest issue with the system you’re going to be stuck at the airport until it is resolved.

I know when I filled mine out there was an issue with getting the confirmation email and QR code. Thankfully it was 3 days prior and I had time to wait for the system to fix itself.

yes you read it wrong. They don’t care when you depart the UK, only when you arrive in Thailand

Thailand Digital Arrival Card. Not everyone arrives into Thailand by air so to call it a landing card would be limiting its intended scope.

Every foreigner who enters the Kingdom of Thailand must fill out a TDAC, whether they enter by air, sea or via a land border.

"I'm confused. Recently, Thailand changed the tourist visa duration from 60 days back to 30 days, starting in May 2025.“

No they didn’t, they introduced the TDAC which is nothing to do with visas or duration of stay.

You’re in Thailand, pharmacy meds are not your only option!

Coming through immigration last week I watched as many people were sent to the side of the immigration counter to fill out the TDAC.

They either thought they would get it done in time in the queue or just didn’t do it, so they wasted everyone’s time by arriving at the immigration counter totally unprepared.

Others meanwhile were fussing about with it whilst trying to hold their place in line, much to the annoyance of other travellers.

Don’t be those people!

Canada. You don’t officially enter South Korea so that isn’t your country of origin, nor is it required on the health declaration.

still 60 for now. There’s been no official announcement on any changes.
