Is it the special extension? To get that special extension you CANNOT be on overstay as it requires an embassy letter

I saw on one of the Myanmar backpacking groups that exits must also be done by air too. But that’s not confirmed.

Embassies won’t assist you as you are not even in the country. They only take care of affairs from the country you are in.

that is also irresponsible too. People should be staying put right now for the safety of themselves and the public and not contracting any diseases from spreading.

It’s bad enough that not enough people are not wearing masks and governments aren’t even interested that people do.
