I would side towards yes. Is weird some ask for a rental contract in Thailand when it’s ‘for’ Thailand. I would guess an international one is better, but haven’t heard anyone have a problem with Thai bank.

Dude, after the latest Thai laws you DO NOT want a Thai bank account. They will tax you and make tonnes of issues. Stick with wise and revolut only.

And you’re confusing employment law, immigration law and corporation law.

Immigration law allows what you can do in the country, employment law pertains to the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees.

You can absolutely work for an international company.

How that company then trades with Thailand is totally seperate.
