My problem is I have fixed deposit and saving under same statement.

Combination of two amounts could meet minimum requirement for DTV application.

Will they combine these two amounts or I shall withdraw my fixed deposits to saving ? 🥲

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether they need to withdraw their fixed deposit to combine it with their savings for the DTV application, as both combined meet the minimum requirement. Comments from the community suggest that combining funds from different accounts is usually acceptable and that the requirement is about total funds available, not about having them in a single type of account.

Even if the fixed deposit is accessible with a withdrawal penalty it would still qualify.

I had three amounts. So what I did was I highlighted the amounts and wrote on the form ‘total bank statement value - add all three accounts’

The 6 month METV they used to ask to see think was 6k gbp. I used to show them 2 ba k acounts a savings and current and was always accepted. For my DTV I showed them my thia bank account and asked to see funds in my uk bank account. So if I was with you put it one download the statement then put back that's what I did

that’s not a problem, it’s two requirements, not two documents. They’re supposed to be in the same document.

Could be seperate, but it shouldn’t

matter. I’m sure they prefer combined as it’s more clear/easier.
