SHA plus packages have to be paid in full, you cannot pay on arrival. Only then will they give you the confirmation certificate that you need to register for the Thailand Pass.

Just make sure you book a hotel that includes the SHA plus package, PCR test etc.

you can book SHA plus hotel packages visa Agoda. I booked two in the last two months when I travelled from the U.K.

I arrived an hour before my long haul flight to London a month ago. Cut it fine but all was ok. They say 3 hours but 2 is what I usually aim for as I hate the long waits. But this is when I’m already in BKK… There could well be a delay at Phuket and your 1.45 may not be 1.45 at all.

call Thai immigration and let them talk to the hotel manager. He cannot make up the official rules of the country.

I’ll admit, I was with my partner and I don’t know what exactly was being spoken about or paid for. As far as I knew, we only paid for the registration. Didn’t feel like I paid enough to include insurance… I’m going to have to ask her now 😂

yes just saw you mentioned it for car registration. But then again, they didn’t check mine when registering my car in BKK.
