Ok sorry. I want to live in Thailand. Swedish passport. I am 30 ( not eligible for retirement visa) I have read that you can get a non immigrant business visa with a certificate of deposit investment in a Thai bank. But not sure about minimum amount so wanted to check if anyone with experience doing this ?
Hi Stuart. Thank you for taking the time to respond and approving my post. Sorry about the confusion about the 7 days (which seems to only apply for a specific few national passport holder, which got me confused) . I thought it might be a new rule. I appreciate your time and effort.
I have the same question. I arrived on a Visa Exemption (Sweden Passport). Can I extend for 30 days, or is there some new rule that makes it only possible for 7 days ?
That’s what I tried at first. Even though the education is on the ministry of education list the embassy won’t issue the COE. When I hit a dead end and was in you situation exactly I paid and applied for a university degree and then they issued me the COE and Visa.
You can mate. But I can tel you right away, I tried everything and the only way is if you pay and get admitted to a University for a Bachelors degree. And If you don’t attend they find out very quickly....hence my question
