Does anyone have experience on obtaining a medical visa within Thailand ?
For example change from ED visa to Medical visa due to illness.
Would it be granted for treatment such as seeing a psychologist ? If anyone has been through this process specifically please let me know.
TLDR : Answer Summary
There is no official medical visa in Thailand; however, you can apply for an extension of stay based on medical needs. This requires documentation from a healthcare provider. While treatment from a psychologist may be accepted, this is contingent upon the immigration officer's discretion and the specifics of your situation. Experiences shared by others indicate challenges in obtaining the extension, highlighting the importance of proper documentation and understanding of the immigration process.
