Congrats...firstly you are holding a non O (that's the most important) other requirements are up to the branch annual fee for debit card master is usually 150baht...699baht may come with a little insurance (accident but not comprehensive) you can check again on your next visit....go to any AIS outlet verify your passport and make a little top up over the counter and ask for receipts...having a mobile banking app will make your life more easy cheers
U need to cancel your DTV before u can apply for student visa supposing u already get student visa but you still can't open a bank acct what are u going to do next? Some DTV holders did manage to open bank acct with/without agents
you only have to do it once instead of multiple times how much transfer fees are you going to pay? And how about the better interest he earns in his home acct.....it's a requirement to get visa extensions and ppl have no choice the rates are irrelevant when it comes to priority
Build your funds in your home country and once you have enough funds (equivalent to 800k) apply for the non O in the thai embassy in your home country....visit thailand with the non O and start your process of applying bank acct and transfer the funds from your home country to your thai bank acct....
it's up to individual preferences of having a insurance or not....what I'm sharing is certain visa needs insurance as requirement to get approved and some visa doesn't need
