I had this issue checking in with Thai Airways a few months ago. They were requesting I had a return flight. After about a minute of explaining the DTV, it was no issue. Also, at Heathrow Airport, Thailand, I’ve never been asked to show a return on the DTV.

I didn’t at first then they requested a e-ticket number so I booked a flight the day they requested that provided E-ticket got approved a day later
