Hello everyone, i am a Indonesia citizen and I plan to apply Thailand DTV visa through the Jakarta embassy. I am currently stay in Indonesia as well.

But As far as i know, thai DTV visa is applying online now no need to go to the thai embassy, however every time when i try to upload the bank statements proff pdf, always showing up error or do not have permission. Is anyone same ? Please someone help to guide me. Thank you

I applied on Dec 3rd for Workcation and current status is still 'pending approval'. I heard some got called for interviews too.

Just wanted to post my experience with Jakarta Embassy! For DTV remote working visa

Applied on 19th November

Applied with

- passport

- 3 months statements highlighted income

- letter from my employer stating I don't work with Thai companies and I can work in thailand.

- proof that I'm in Jakarta (visa)

- photo of me

1st December - request of more documents

They asked me for

- every page of passport

- bank statement 3 months again but not highlighted

- company registration (sent UK companies house registrstion)

- a new photo

Sent these documents on 1st

4th December - request further documents

- proof oof previous job (never seen or heard this been requested before, I think was asked because my current role only been here 11 months)

So I sent my previous contract through and CV with cover letter.

7th December - 21:45pm was approved!!

Flying on 15th december!!

My experience using a Thai visa issued in Jakarta

I applied for my Thai visa while in Bali, through the Thai Embassy in Jakarta. The process there was a bit slow — they asked for extra documents before approving it, but once I submitted everything, it went through fine.

About a month later, when I arrived in Phuket earlier today,, immigration took me aside to a holding area. They said they didn’t have the documents that Jakarta had received, and asked me to send them again. I had to dig through my computer and email them to a personal Gmail address (not an official government one), which felt a bit odd.

After about 15 minutes, one of the liasons came back and said okay, then told me I could go through immigration. They also had me fill out another short form with general information.

Overall, it wasn’t a big problem, but it definitely wasn’t as smooth as other people make it sound. My impression is that Phuket immigration might not be very familiar with this particular type of visa, or they just want to put on a front of being tough.

Currently applying for the dtv visa via Jakarta Embassy, I sent them 6 months of bank statements with my name on each page, now they are asking me to send everything again, under my name...did this happen to any of you guys? Do they wanna know if I still have the money to send an updated one? Should I highlight my name on every page? Asking for help 🙏🏼
