Does anyone knows when the next flight from Jakarta Indonesia goes to Bangkok? The Thai embassy in Jakarta is closed due to the covid situation can’t get a hold on them. No need to tell “stay there”, it is for a friend of mine who will come on an elite visa and plan to stay for years. Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the next flight from Jakarta to Bangkok for a friend holding an Elite visa. They noted difficulties contacting the Thai embassy due to COVID-19. Responses included information on a direct flight with Garuda Indonesia and emphasized the need for a Certificate of Entry (COE) and a negative COVID-19 test to board the flight.
Your friend still needs all the requirements to get a certificate of entry from the Thai embassy. He can not enter Thailand without it, even though he has an Elite visa. Without a COE, and a negative covid-19 test within the last 72 hours to show, they will never let him board any flight to Thailand.
any flight booked through the Thai embassy are repatriation flights for Thai citizens wanting to return to Thailand because of the virus. Foreigners were allowed to book seats on those flights if there was any extra seats on those days they wanted to fly, and while regular commercial flights into Thailand were suspended. Now regular commercial flights are again available, so just book with them.
, yes we are aware of that just wondering if the flights are arranged by the Thai Embassy or that you have to book yourself. I came from Malaysia and the Thai embassy gave a flight where I had to book a ticket on.
