I got documents in french with bank stamp and agent's signature.

I sent them a mail but they didn't reply.

Thanks🙏🏼

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether the Thai embassy in Jakarta requires translations of bank statements and income proof documents that are originally in French. Comments indicate that the embassy likely prefers documents in Thai or English and suggest contacting the bank for documents issued in English.

Is it a French bank? Can't they issue it directly in English? My Korean bank (and not only banks) can issue the most commonly used documents either in English or Korean and English (both languages in the same document) upon request.

For sure they'd want documents in Thai or English only.

I understand for some documents, but here it's just to translate terms " deposit account" and "saving account" from the french words.

Do you know if I got any other solutions than paying 2k baths for each document with a thai official translator company? Because I got a several ones 😕

It depends on the embassy. Some accept self-translation, others require an official translation and yet others require an official translation + certification from local authorities or even your own embassy (if applying in a foreign country). Most seem to be fine with an official translation performed by a registered translation company.

thanks for the information. Someone told me that it can be translated by a notary for cheaper, do you think they could be official "enough" ?
