TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler plans to apply for a DTV visa at the Indonesian embassy in Jakarta and seeks advice on how long to stay. Comments indicate that visa processing typically takes three working days: submit on Monday and collect on Thursday afternoon. It's recommended to book return flights for Thursday evening or Friday to allow sufficient time for visa collection.
definitely leave 3 working days see hours in my pic here- you can only submit between 9and 11:30 only if you get there at 1135 am you will have to wait till next day to submit collecting is similar only collect after 130pm to 3pm only . if you have all your documents in order then your collect slip will be 3 working days later so yes submit monday morning then collect Thursday afternoon. this was my experience last week submitted wednesday and collected monday
Anonymous participant I applied yesterday as well. I will try to go there for collection tomorrow and see if can do. I didn't buy flight as I have no idea if I can collect the passport
Anonymous participant The guard checked the slip and says cannot. I asked if he can ask inside, he did. Still did not manage to get the passport and I was asked to come tomorrow
Within 3 working days is commonplace in Jakarta. Best leave as last as possible just in case., Thursday evening or Friday. If you have a flexible ticket you can choose anyday and change the date
