Hi everyone, just wanted to share my experience and timeline for a successful Medical DTV application from Hanoi.

UK National

Applied:Hanoi

Timeline: Applied Dec 19th, 2025 ➡️ Approved Dec 26th, 2025 (Exactly 7 days!)

My main goal was clarity. Based on advice from others here, I labeled every file clearly and tried to make the officer's job as easy as possible.

1. Cover Letter:

I included a brief summary explaining exactly why I was applying for the DTV.

2. Medical Documents (Compiled into 1 PDF):

• Medical letter from the hospital.

• Official Diagnosis.

• Records of previous treatments.

• Receipts for past payments.

3. Financials (Compiled into 1 PDF):

• 3 months of normal transaction history via Wise.

• Proof of funds (separated/highlighted to show the required 500,000 THB).

4. Accommodation:

• I had already entered Thailand and secured accommodation, so I simply provided the proof of my current booking/contract.

Approved with NO requests for additional documentation!

Compile related documents into single PDFs

Label everything clearly so they don't have to hunt for information.
