NON-IMMIGRANT O VISA, DEPENDENT CHILD, UK.

Hello, I'm confused and needing advice because I cannot get confirmation from my employer atm.

I'm a teacher and am applying for the e-visa, Non-Imm B, from the UK. I have a 5yr old child who is coming with me. Do I apply for their Non-Imm O visa online beforehand? Is there a section to add their visa onto my profile? When I arrive my employer mentioned they'll need her birth certificate for something to do with my work permit. I'm just so confused at the moment. Thanks! 😊

Hello. Few scenarios, bear with me...

1. Can a Non-Imm B single entry 90 day visa, based on invite from a Thai company to conduct business be extended within Thailand at Thai immigration to 1 year (with a multi-reentry permit added later). If so, what are the requirements?

- or -

2. Are the only options a single entry 90 day visa or a multiple entry 1 year visa (with the latter only allowing 90 days maximum per entry during its one year validity)?

A 1 year extension with a muti-reentry permit would be preferable than a muti-entry visa but I don't think that's an option.

Lastly

3. Can the Non-Imm B single entry 90 day visa be converted to a Non-Imm B Multiple entry visa within Thailand? Guessing no but might as well check.

Thanks all.

Hello everyone! Advice needed!

My NON-IMM B visa expires on the 11th of September, while my airport stamp expires on the 30th of August. Can I do a border run and still get 90 days even if the visa expires in September?

Hello, I would like to ask about working part time in Thailand. As I possess the Non-IMM B visa and have a valid work permit for a Thai company, but I would like to work for another Thai company as a freelance worker (part time only). Is it okay or do I need to apply for another work permit? Thanks!

I applied for a Non-Imm B visa application at the Thai Consulate in Chicago on 15 December. I anticipate this will take at least another week for approval, so I booked a flight for January 6 just to be safe. I already submitted my Thailand Pass application with the January arrival date and was approved.

IF my visa is approved early, could I reschedule my flight for an earlier date and simply reapply for Thailand Pass using the new date?`

I have been reading everyone’s post for quite a while and now the time has come for me to seek some advice .

I have a work permit expiring in August 2022, and a non- IMM B visa that expires in the 4th December 2021. The company employing me can no longer meet the requirements to enable them to renew my visa.

As I understand it now I need to cancel the work permit and the current visa and apply for a new visa for retirement . I really do not know how I can do all of this in one day.

How long do they give you between cancelling a work permit and being able to arrange a new visa ?

I have enough money in my savings account to meet the visa requirements and the balance has been over a million baht for about 6 months.( but cannot prove it all comes from outside the country)

Am worried I am running out of options. Any suggestions

Does anyone know what documents I need to switch from a non-imm b visa to COVID visa? Just quit my job and plan to stay on for a couple more months.

I was looking at the Phuket Volunteers website and it is super-informative but I wanted to ask about 2 things:

1. If converting to Retirement visa from a Non-Imm B, 3-month letter invitation, the website suggests that I would not then need to get extra insurance for the 12-month retirement visa from one of the Thai long-stay insurance providers, but if I tried to convert from say a TR visa or a non-exempt visa, then I would. Is that true/still the case? I guess it is separate from the COVID insurance, correct? It could save money as I have great Cigna insurance coverage but since it's not on the Thai provider list I guess I couldn't use it?

1. Let's say I apply for the retirement visa from a visa-exempt and maybe during the one and only extension I can obtain with that, say around day 45 in country. The website suggests that a) I can't leave Thailand during the application approval process and the application process can take up to 30 days. Would I go on overstay since I couldn't extend the exempt visa a second time?

I hope that's not too confusing, I'm just trying to figure this all out! Thank you!

Advice needed: I got the 60 days Covid extension of my expired/revoked non-Imm B visa. It's running until April 29th, however I intend to fly back home on April 30th. The immigration officer understood my concern of overstaying and getting into trouble applying for a new work permit any time in the future plus paying the overstay fine and called their colleague at Suvarnabumi airport. He then told me, that it is okay to leave the country within 24 hours after the permit of stay runs out. As I learned in this forum not to trust anything that is not written and signed or inked into the passport, I'd kindly ask if anyone has experience or advice for my case.

To clarify: I haven't booked yet, but the flight on April 30th would be perfect for multiple personal reasons.

Thanks 😊

Can anyone clarify for me (I’m a newbie to this and I’m a little confused about a lot of the processes here.......). Just received my work permit. Am I correct to say that now I need to apply for extension of my Non-imm B visa?
