Hi, I am looking for informations about the Business Visa ( non imm B ).

I have a valid work permit in Singapore (EP) but for work reasons, I have been staying in Bangkok from September ( i have a customer here).

Until now, I got tourist visa exemptions ( and going out every 2-3 weeks) but I know it will not be allowed soon.

I have been advised to ask for a 1y multiple entries Business Visa in Singapore. My customer here ( big thai company) can provide me with a letter stating they need me.

How difficult is it to get this 1y Business visa in Singapore? I am an employee of the Singapore Company, is it enough ?

Thanks for your advices.

There are three different Non Immigrant B visa:

1, For teachers, has nothing to do with this question.

2. In case of employment in Thailand

3 In case of short-term business meetings

You live in Thailand, want to stay the rest of the year inside Thailand and visit clients, it is called employment in Thailand.

If your company does not want to establish a local Thai Company, or the Thai company does not want to help out, your idea of living and working in Thailand is simple not legally possible.

Here's the requirements

Singapore you apply ONLINE before you even go to the consulate (in fact they don't take walk ups

pretty much it's meet the requirements get the visa, don't meet them, don't get the visa.

How about having your singapore company contact the thai consulate there and talk to them OR have them look at the requirements.

You are correct. You are working remotely for the Singapore company.

Do you qualify for the APEC CARD ?

from my understanding, to get a Thai work permit, I will need a local contract/salary from a local Thai company, right ? This won't be my case

Just to understand: You have to stay and work inside Thailand from September onwards or are you just visiting short times Thailand to advice or inspect the product or the client?

but I am not going to work directly for the Thai company, ie I won't get a salary/ work permit from them

than you need also the work permit, you need the visa as mentioned on their web page : 3.1 In case of employment in Thailand.
