Would like to thank admin for accepting me into the group.

As I am new here I apologise in advance if this question has been asked before.

I am living in Australia as an Australian resident, and recently retired.

Would like to be able to spend six months of the year in Thailand.

What would be the easiest and cheapest Visa to enable this to happen?

Also I am looking at renting a condo for a minimum of six months, do I need to get this before I apply for a Visa?

I hope this can be answered in simple terms. I am moving to Thailand in a few months. A friend is coming with me for 29 days. She will fly back home then. I want to stay in Bangkok a few days them go to Hua Hin, and get an agent. I will open a bank acct. and deposit $26,000.00. I will look for a condo, with sea view that allows one domestic cat with in my budget. I plan on coming on a non-o visa. My friend will only have her passport . Is that expectable if she has a return ticket for 29 day back to USA?

Hi am in need of advice. I will be renewing my Non O based on marriage. One of the requirements is the residence (blue book). I am renting a condo and the landlord mentioned he does not have the blue book because apparently, condos don't have that.

In the absence of said blue book, what can I show to Thai immigration? Any insight much appreciated!

Hi.

Arrived to Thailand 2 weeks ago on a regular 2 month visa, stayed for a week in BKK then rented a condo in CNX. Upon contract signature, we went down to the office in the condo, signed a paper off and he took some scans of my passport for he said, online reporting. Then there was another paper that was "up to me"? to bring to immigration. Iunderstood from the conversation only the online reporting was truly needed.

Do I need to sort anything else out? Always stayed at condotels or similar never had to go to immigration for any of those things, first time renting from a particular.
