My husband heard that small kids are not officially asked to get extensions on their visas or exemptions.

That the thai government doesn’t really care if kids are overstaying

We are planning both parents to get either a DTV or go in with a visa exemption.

If we go for the second options of course kids will be included in extensions and border run.

But is it necessary to have them on a DTV?

They are 6 & 2 yo

Would we have to pay 10k bath for each?

About to do a tourist visa extension... Do I need to do one for my 4 year old also? I've heard that kids don't need visas, but he has one stamped in his passport

Hello everyone!

Thanks for letting me in. I was wondering for people who travel with small children (don't need to go to school/kindergarten) and intend to stay longterm in Thailand.

Do you bother to get visa for them? As I understand children under 14 years of age does not get any punishment for overstaying, but can there be any other bad implications for overstaying with a 1 year old baby?

Thanks in advance! 🙏😄
