Hi! Pending my spouse visa, I need to do a run tomorrow out of country. I have Two young kids who also need their visa extended. Someone told me I don’t necessarily need to extend theirs if mine is valid; is that true? I’m hoping to avoid travelling with them so would be delighted if it is ;)
Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether their two young children need to have their visas extended, given that they are currently on a tourist visa and the user's spouse visa is pending. Comments suggest that while there are no overstay penalties for children under 15, valid visas are still necessary. One suggestion is to ensure the children get a new entry stamp by briefly leaving the country.
Thanks everyone. We are currently just on tourist visa (should’ve been in Singapore last week to get dependent visa issued but had to cancel). The kids and I will be in my husbands work permit.
Keep in mind while there are NO overstay fines for children under 15 and no overstay banning for children under 18 that DOES NOT mean they don't need valid visas. It just means there are no penalties. I'd say bounce them out and back to so they get a new entry on their visa (what ever it is) and as soon as you can get them sorted out on a long stay visa inside the country
what type of visa do you actually have? IS it a year-long multi-entry Non-immigrant one where you leave the country every 90 days to get a new 90 day stamp?
