ORIGINAL POSTERI would like some advice. My wife is Thai and I’m an American. We plan to come Thailand in July and stay about 4 months. During that time, we will probably take a trip outside Thailand (maybe Laos, Viet Nam or the Philippines). My question is do I need to get a visa or just use the 60 day exemption and depend on the extensions that are available.
In addition to the normal 60 day extension, can I get a family extensions as I have in the past?

ORIGINAL POSTERThe Pattaya Visa office gave me form 87 when I quickly asked about family extensions. What is the difference between this and form 7? Thanks very much for all your answers.
