When should I leave Thailand if my visa extension gives me until August 28 after an initial expiration on July 21?

French passeport holder, I been in immigration at CW for an 30 days extension, the date I had to leave Thailand before the extension was 21 july, with the extention they gave me until 28 august, means 38 days !!! Should I leave 30 days after 21 july, so 20 august ?
