Hi all! I’m all new to learning DTV. I hope you can help me with these questions ☺️

1) Is it a must to email to email the Thai embassy first before the application?

2) How soon should I start the process? I’m planning to go Feb 2026.

3) My partner (same sex) has a job offer in Thailand and we’re discussing if she can write a sponsorship letter instead of showing funds. Any experience on this?

4) Any suggestions for a country where I can apply given my situation?

5) Do I need to enroll for a soft power course every 6 months until the 5th year?
