DTV Workcation Approved – Islamabad Embassy (Pakistan) 🇵🇰🇹🇭

Sharing my DTV (Destination Thailand Visa) experience as a YouTube gaming content creator.

Timeline:

• 1 December 2025 – DTV application submitted

• 2 December 2025 – Visa fee paid

• 10 December – Status changed to Pending Approval

• 9 January – Further documents requested

• 19 January – Interview at Islamabad Embassy

• 21 January – DTV Approved

Further Documents Requested (9 January)

They requested:

Employment contract OR employment certificate OR professional portfolio

I submitted:

• A written explanation (Signed) stating I am a self-employed YouTube gaming content creator

• Clarified that I do not have a traditional employer, boss, or employment contract

• Explained that my work is fully remote and independent

Interview (19 January)

Questions focused on:

• Why I applied for DTV

• What kind of work I do

• Whether I have an employment contract

I explained:

• I create gaming content on YouTube

• I am part of the YouTube Partner Program

• How monetization works and how income is generated

• How earnings move from YouTube → AdSense → bank transfer

The officer said he would review my application again.

Documents I Provided

• YouTube channel portfolio:

• About section (name + channel info)

• Homepage and video list

• Analytics and monetization status

• Revenue screenshots (previous 90 days)

• AdSense account screenshots

• Google payment receipts (last 6 months)

• Bank EPRC reports showing remittance from Google Ireland

• Bank statements showing approx. 700,000 THB maintained for 3 consecutive months

• Airbnb booking (3 months)

• Flight ticket

Result

DTV approved on 21 January.
