For a Non B visa with a working permit, which was just extended for 1 year (from 90 days), can the 14 years old son of the holder apply for 90 days "non immigrant O to visit non Thai family members"?

just to say, that of course its not only a visit, but the intention is that the son apply for a one year extension in an immigration office within Thailand.

and if its possible- what document is needed to show the parenthood connection? will a birth certificate be enough (in English) ? Is there e a need for bank account balance above a certain amount?
