Hello everyone, I have visited Thailand about 30 times in the last 30 years but only on Tourist Visa’s up to 30 days, I have studied Thai Visa options this year as my situation has changed but even though I myself am a fairly intelligent guy, I can’t find the right answers so here goes: 🙏

I leave the UK next week forever, I have a METV (multi entry tourist visa obtained in the UK) I will be marrying a Thai national in February 2019 (in her village in Isaan) and then hopefully in Thailand we will get the documentation to make our marriage official. We will both hope to return to the UK in May 2019 for our honeymoon for about 3 weeks.

My fiancé needs a visa to leave Thailand in May 2019 to visit the UK for about 3 weeks, but I then need a Visa (I believe a marriage visa) for then us both to return to Thailand afterward’s to live our life together (as my METV will have nearly expired).

I assume my new visa will be a marriage visa, is this easy to get?
